A Walmart Doc
I chanced across this article in Review of Optometry when I was in the Air Force a few years back. Two reactions: 1) Hey, that used to be my Walmart! And 2) He is spot-on. "Evil empire" or no, in this environment I can provide care with the same excellence as any private office or medical center I have staffed before. And from what I see, patients love it!

See better, read better.
A recent study in Optometry And Vision Science showed that people read better if their astigmatism is corrected...SURPRISE! Seriously though, why be at a disadvantage? http://www.healio.com/optometry/optics/news/online/%7Be217beb9-4476-4746-9719-fa609cf3e08a%7D/spectacle-correction-positively-affects-reading-fluency-in-astigmatic-students
